Took powder pink to a whole new level yesterday in Arlington, Virginia! The camera settings are a little off but it still turned out semi-ok haha. I’m bummed I don’t have my Canon camera with me on this trip, it’s getting a little too difficult to share the camera with Sara since we’re traveling separately a lot more these days. Do you guys have any camera recommendations? One that’s fit for a blogger… everyday photos, food photos, outfit photos, etc. I would be very thankful for any help <3
Touchdown Washington DC!
I’m writing to you guys with swollen hands and feet all the way from the East Coast! It’s a usual thing for me to swell up on airplanes… I swear it’s like once my flight reaches the two-hour mark, my body gives the green light to inflate all of my limbs with fluid. The worst part is when your sneakers become too tight and you have to take them off to massage your cankles… tell me I’m not the only one who suffers from this travel issue 😐
But how cute is my new Cavalet silver suitcase?! I love how it has four wheel drive because TRUST ME when I say there’s a major difference between 2 wheelers and 4 wheelers. All of the not-so-light-travel-packers appreciate four wheel drive on their suitcase because 1) you’re not carrying the weight, just pushing it 2) the top of the suitcase now acts as a great platform to hold your other not-so-light carry on bag and 3) who wouldn’t wanna show up to the airport with a badass four wheel drive suitcase??
It was hard to choose a color because Cavalet offers so many cute ones but I went for the light silver because it looks classic and chic. The size is perfect too… I got the biggest size they offer and it’s still very comfortable for traveling.
I’ve partnered up with Cavalet to give you guys 25% off a suitcase with the code “Montazami” so if you’re interested in looking like a badass at the airport, it’s that much easier now 🙂

Here’s some photos from the mens fashion event I attended last week with Austin at LACMA. The exhibit was called ”Reigning Men” and it featured fashion in menswear over time. It was cool to see how the styles have changed so much but still nothing we wear now is new, just redone. The woman who created the exhibit had been working on it for five whole years! She knew everything about every fashion trend in each century. I would love to see the same exhibit but for womens’ fashion. I’m guessing we’d see A LOT of the things we’re wearing now…
Today we saw Austin’s older sister Lindsey graduate with a masters degree in forensic and legal psychology! We are so proud of her. She’s an amazing makeup blogger as well, I always get great makeup and skin care advice from her. Make sure to check out her blog here 🙂
I just realized I never posted these photos from my shoot with Isaac in Laguna Beach!! I had to double and triple check to make sure I hadn’t already posted them here on the blog because I would hate to double post. It always gets so confusing now with Instagram because it feels I’ve posted a few shots from this shoot on there.
As I mentioned in my Bikini Lately post [here], this is one of my favorite bikinis at the moment. It’s the crochet suit from Chiquelle.

I love the golden light in these photos. We took them at Kent’s place in downtown right around sunset. Seriously such a photoshoot-ready apartment!
We arrived in DC earlier tonight and we’ll be here until the 23rd so we have a good amount of time to explore the city. I brought tons of outfits to shoot for you guys, but unfortunately I didn’t get to bring my big camera since Sara and I share, so I’ll have to use my Samsung or meet up with a local photographer! Hopefully I can find some cool backdrops that you won’t find in California 🙂

Time is flying faster than ever here in LA. I leave for D.C. tomorrow and I haven’t packed one thing so the stress is definitely starting to build up. I’m gunna wake up early and get some things done before I go to the nail salon for a fresh mani. Am I the only one who panics if they don’t get their nails done right before a trip? I’m gunna stick with a neutral color…. maybe a whitish-pink 🙂
Here are some photos I took yesterday with my new friend Kent Avery, a really talented photographer I just recently met. This was my first time shooting with him and I really love the photos that came out of it. We were talking about possibly taking a trip up to Big Sur or somewhere with a cool landscape for a photoshoot. I think it’s about time I do a cool shoot like that, no?!

Today was busssssy– just how I like it. This morning I paid the Berri Goldfarb PR showroom a visit and got some really cute things that I can’t wait to show you guys! I got some stunning jewelry pieces that are to die for. Afterwards I went to LACMA for an event with YOOX. We got to see a private tour of the ”Reigning Men” exhibition which featured fashion in menswear over many centuries and continents. It was such a cool thing to see… I’ll be posting all the pics and writing a bit more about it later, but for now you can check out my latest Instagram to see one of my favorite pieces from the collection 🙂
This was my look for the first half of the day, before I went home and changed to prep for a photoshoot downtown. I love this button dress… it’s the perfect length for these sky high boots. You would be amazed how hard it is to find a dress that is the right length for these boots… it’s not as easy as it looks! If it’s too long you look like you’re wearing jeans, and if it’s too short, well, then it’s too short. I’m happy this dress made the cut!
Who else is as excited for bikini season as I am?! I’m building up a serious craving for sand in my toes, salty hair, and cruising down PCH listening to music with the car windows rolled down. Ahhhh that’s like paradise to me haha. These are a few of my favorite bikinis that I’ve been wearing lately. My favorites are the crochet one and the pink… What are yours?!
SOME BEACHY FUN FACTS:
Favorite song to listen to on the beach: Jammin’ by Bob Marley or Amber by 311.
Beachside drink of choice? Ice cold beer.
One thing you can’t go to the beach without? SPF, sunnies, and a hat!
Favorite beach? West Street in Laguna Beach
Bikini or one piece? I used to only wear bikinis, but now I love both!!
Beach tip: as soon as you get on the sand TAKE OFF YOUR SANDALS. Shoebies are frowned upon by Californians 😉
Ever been saved by a lifeguard? Yes haha.

What to do when you’re sick but you still wanna dress up and look nice for the day…. Throw that hair in a ponytail and spice it up with a choker! That’s exactly what I did today and I really enjoyed it. I don’t normally wear my hair up, ok I RARELY wear my hair up, but it’s nice with a little change. I might need to trade in my nerdy scrunchie for an actual hair band though… But that scrunchie is life!! This reminds me I need to do a post on scrunchies and why you need them in your life.
Right now Austin and I just got to the Rihanna concert! It’s always been my dream to see her perform so I’m very excited. See a little of it on my Snapchat: hannamonty. Bye for now! xx
