More pictures from our amazing trip to Croatia! And a look inside our gorgeous suite and balcony at the Valamar Dubrovnik President Hotel. Looking at these makes me wanna go back already… what a gorgeous destination. I’ll definitely be going back there one day.
Things are moving along here in LA… Sara and I have a busy day of meetings and then we’re going to a pool party event later on today. The ”pool party” is from 5-8 so I’m not sure if anyone will actually be in the pool haha but I’m planning on wearing a nice dress. I have to bring my outfit with me because we will already be in the area and it will be too hectic to drive all the way back to the West side for an outfit change.
I hope everyone has a good Friday! Please let there be more peace in this world. Praying for everyone who has been affected by the recent hateful acts <3
One of the first things I made sure I did when I got home to LA was run to Whole Foods for a grocery and flower run. I can’t tell you guys how excited I was to do this after eating out and being on the go for 3 1/2 weeks in Europe! It was such a luxury haha. I picked up these gorgeous white spider mums and eucalyptus leaves to make a flower arrangement that instantly spruced up the apartment. They smell amazing too… especially the eucalyptus!
Some flower tips that I’ve learned on my own, from my mom, and from a little research:
1. Make sure all flowers are living and unbroken before you buy them. It is best to buy flowers that have not yet bloomed.
2. Put your flowers in water as soon as you get home!
3. Always cut off at least an inch from the bottom of the stem, and cut at a diagonal.
4. Use flower food, but if you don’t have any, don’t sweat it.
5. I hear the crushed aspirin in the water makes your flowers last longer
6. Make sure to remove all of the leaves that are below or at the water line. It will smell bad, contaminate the water, and possibly start to mold.
7. If you have tulips, place a penny in the water to keep them standing up straight!
8. Change the water every other day.
9. If you happen to notice that some of your flower heads had been decapitated, place them in a glass of water (like I did) for a cute and chic table arrangement.
Do you guys have any must-try flower tips? Leave them in the comments below 🙂
I’m back in LA, and I can finally go through all of my pictures from our trip! I’m gunna start with our hotel in Croatia, because first off the photos are gorgeous, and second, I need to tell you about how great our stay here was! I already told you the nightmare story of what happened on my plane ride into Croatia, and how our hotel quickly turned everything around once we arrived. The next morning, we were even more happy about our choice to stay at the Valamar Dubrovnik President once we experienced the breakfast. Imagine walking onto a beautiful shaded terrace with white chairs and striped pillows, overlooking the Aegean sea, with a five star breakfast buffet behind you. I still dream of that breakfast…. they had everything! Their pancakes tasted like churros, their fruit was fresh, and champagne was waiting for you at the drink station. My favorite was the fresh honeycomb (you literally scoop a piece of honeycomb from the tray!) and their poached eggs on toast.
Some other perks of the hotel were the private beach with drink service and sun beds, infinity and indoor pool, live music every night (huge plus), and the on-suite balconies (you’ll see photos of my room later). Overall it was a dream-like hotel and I’m so happy we chose to stay there! I know some of you mentioned you will be traveling to Croatia in the upcoming months, so let me know if you guys have any questions about my stay and I will be happy to answer!
How fun does this day look?! We spent one of our days here in Sweden boating around the Archipelago islands of Stockholm with the family. Just the company of family and friends, good food, and the water. I’m so happy I got to wear my pretty white dress on this day. I had Emma and Nicho bring it in their suitcase for me since it weighs like 20 pounds haha. I was like there’s no way I can lug this around Europe, NOPE. I’m obsessed with it though!! And the low back is the best part 🙂 I paired it with my ultra-soft denim jacket for a cool, boat-y look.
And just like that, my Euro trip is coming to a close after a jam-packed three and a half weeks of traveling. I had the best time in London, a romantic getaway in Paris, a tropical excursion in Croatia, and family bonding time in Sweden! I feel like I got a little bit of everything. What an amazing three weeks it has been with Austin. He is a great travel buddy 🙂 I was curious to see how well we would get along on this trip (since it is our first really big trip together) and I’m happy to say we made it out still in love! Haha. But here I am sitting at the airport, shakin’ like a leaf! I am so nervous about flying. And I hate the fact that my family is separated on three different airplanes going back to LA. Praying that we get there safely <3

One thing I’m going to miss from my time here in Europe are the warm nights we had in Croatia. I know it may seem a little odd, but something about warm temperatures at night brings me so much happiness haha. Here are some photos from the last night in Dubrovnik, when we took the bus down the road to Old Town for dinner and ice cream. If there’s one thing I can say, it’s that you don’t really go to Croatia for the food. Or maybe we went to the wrong places? The only food that was good enough to eat again was the breakfast buffet at our hotel. Other than that, everything was not the best. The views, weather, and beach totally make up for it though 😉

Montazami Brand hosted another great pop up shop yesterday! That marks our third one so far, and I can’t wait to do more. It’s so nice to have everything there for people to look at in person, rather than the computer. And meeting our customers/readers is the best part 🙂 A HUGE thank you to all of you who came out yesterday…you made us so happy!
Our top sellers were the chokers, jumpsuit, and graphic tees. We also premiered a brand new piece from our collection, the Palma dress, which you can see me wearing in these photos. I’ll post some more photos so you can see it better, but it’s made from a very soft, luxurious material and it has rouching near the hips/butt. It’s quite lovely, and it comes in both black and icy grey! It will be available on the website very soon 🙂
Today we went on a boat ride around the Archipelago islands of Stockholm and it was just beautiful. We had lunch at Vermdö Golf Club and then cruised around afterwards. Now we’re headed to a small Italian cafe to watch the Belgium and Wales soccer match! Talk soon loves <3
One thing I’ve been enjoying lately is keeping up with world news. So far on my 2 weeks of traveling through Europe, I’ve (eavesdropped) on soooo many conversations about politics, and American politics in particular. There’s a lot going on right now in, especially in terms of politics, and it’s important to stay on top of the latest news. I’m happy to have teamed up with Dagens Nyheter to announce DN digital, which you can access from your iPad, phone, and computer to stay updated on the latest news all the time. If you start today you can get your first subscription for only 1 kr, and then 99 kr for the following months. Click HERE to sign up!
I’m writing to you as I’m currently on the airplane flying from Croatia to Stockholm. There’s a lot of Swedes on this flight! But not too many….we’re all sitting together in the middle of the airplane because there are only 46 passengers, and we needed to make sure it was balanced haha. The flight has been smooth sailing with very little turbulence so I’m hoping it will stay like that for the remaining 40 minutes. I’m trying to not have flashbacks of my last airplane ride…
But I finally had a chance to go through and edit most of my pictures from London and Paris! On our third night in Paris we had reservations at LiLi, which is a Cantonese restaurant at the Peninsula Paris hotel. I’ve never had Cantonese cuisine, so I was very excited to try. And the food was so freakin’ good! I ate things that I’ve never eaten before, like abalone and crispy duck on pancakes. It was definitely our best meal in Paris! We tried their most popular dishes and we loved every single one. We were so full by the time we left haha.. but hat’s a sign of a successful dinner date!

EXPLORING THE BLUE CAVES IN DUBROVNIK
Croatia just gets better and better the more we explore it. Here’s a look at our adventurous safari boat excursion that we went on today. This is my biggest recommendation so far. If you guys ever visit Dubrovnik, you have to go on this boat tour! In case you missed it on my Snap, they played the best music, provided lunch and unlimited drinks, and gave us the best views of Dubrovnik. The boat picked us up at 2 and we came back at 8… a full day on the water and under the sun. There were only about 9-10 other people with us (besides the three people running it, who happened to be the nicest people ever!) so it was a little more intimate, which was nice because you got to meet some new friends. Austin and I met these two German girls who we ended up chatting with the whole day!
Anyways I am so exhausted so I’m off to bed…. have a lovely night/day my babes! I have many more pictures to show you too <3
PS I forgot the exact name of the tour but I will find that out tomorrow and let you guys know in case you ever visit Dubrovnik!
Yeeeee another Montazami Brand pop up shop! This time, the ENTIRE family will be there 🙂 I’m so excited, especially because we are going to be selling some brand new styles and we’ll have a bunch of chokers there! There will also be some limited edition choker charms/colors (cutest summer colors) that you can ONLY get at the pop-up shop. If you are in Stockholm, you have to come say hi! And if you live close to Stockholm, you should come too! We will be in the lobby of MOOD in Stockholm. Come shop, mingle, take pics, and hangout with the Montazami fam 🙂
I would be so happy to meet some of my readers. It’s this Thursday, June 30th, from 5-7 pm. Let me know if you can join! xx
