I never thought I would be one of those avocado toast-obsessed people, but here I am. Mashed avocado on top of Dave’s Killer Bread (basically the only bread I ever eat) is a recipe for a full and happy tummy. I like mine with crushed red chili peppers on top with a little bit of salt and pepper. Sometime I go crazy and add a light drizzle of Sriracha on top, but only if I’m feelin’ the heat that morning. Usually Austin’s in charge of the avo toast and I’m busy assembling our fruit bowls. Today I did a small dollop of Fage non-fat Greek yogurt with chia seeds, nectarine, berries, and coconut shavings. And of course you can’t go without one of Austin’s famous homemade cappuccinos. Now I’m off to the gym!
FINALLY Austin helped me install Rosetta Stone (for Swedish) on my computer! I had it on my old computer but I installed it right before I got a new one… so it was pointless haha. But now I have it on my new computer and I can’t wait to get started. I think I will swish by the first few lessons since I understand a lot of Swedish already. I think this will really help me learn how to speak Swedish because I’m a visual person, so I need to be able to see the actual words that I’m saying. I’m going to give you guys little updates along the way, and hopefully I will be able to start writing both languages here on the blog, since I know such a big chunk of my readers are from Sweden!
It was starting to become ridiculous that I didn’t know the language of the country I am so involved with. This could possibly open up so many business opportunities for me, establish a deeper relationship with my mormor, and give me the ability to speak to all of the wonderful people who come to Montazami Brand pop-up shops in Sweden. Let’s do this!
Random note: don’t be afraid to leave your comments in Swedish…. I will understand it! 🙂

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I had a jam-packed weekend of friends and parties so I’m really happy that it’s Sunday now and I get to relax. This was my look for Friday night, I don’t usually post my ”going out” outfits here on the blog because we’re ALWAYS running late so I made sure to get out of the house a little earlier this time 🙂
After taking these cute photos of Austin and I… I’m realizing that he needs to be shown more here on the blog! I want you guys to know more about us… maybe I’m not sharing enough of my personal life with you all. That makes me sad! But I will be more conscious of that from now on. xx
OH YES. Montazami Brand now has 6 different choker styles that are available in more than 8 different colors! And for such a low price! Chokers are going to be huge this holiday season, so make sure you get your hands on your favorite 🙂
All of our chokers are made locally in Los Angeles
This week has been DAMN productive. And it feels reaaaaally good. This morning we drove downtown to pick up some dresses that we’re restocking for Montazami Brand. We have been sold out of the small and medium sizes of a few of our styles, like the Palma Dress and Hudson Grey Knit dress, and a lot of people have been asking about them. Well now we finally are getting more! Also, we added three more choker styles on our website today 🙂 Check them out HERE
After downtown, we met up with my mom and Nicho for a fresh salad from Mendocino Farms in Marina Del Rey. I decided for my favorite go-to: the Save Drakes Salad (fresh greens with goat cheese, pink lady beet, red onion, apple, almond, and dried cranberries tossed in a citrus vinaigrette. Mmmmmm. I got this ALL THE TIME when I was in college, probably a little too often. But they literally give you a snowball of goat cheese so yeah, of course I’m gunna love it. They know how to keep their customers comin’ back 😉 hehe
The highlight of my day was having my mom over at our apartment. She took one look around and I have to admit— was not happy with what she saw. There’s just been a lot of stuff going on lately, but I know there’s no excuse for not keeping the apartment tidy. But she really worked her magic and even paid for our grocery bill!! We were SO happy haha. Groceries can get so damn expensive, especially when you’re buying organic, and even worse— from Whole Foods. Things add up, so when my mom does stuff like this it really feels special <3
Do you remember a couple of weeks ago when I went to the Alo Yoga Malibu House for a full day of yoga, beach, pool, nails, massages, and all that fun stuff? Here’s a little video that compiles together all the fun –and relaxation– we had. Now you guys can see how truly gorgeous it was out there at this mega-house in Malibu! When you’re watching, please take note of all the stunning yoga outfits everyone’s wearing. Alo Yoga has the cutest and comfiest yoga clothes in the best colors 🙂
PS HAPPY WEDNESDAY! Guess who I’m seeing perform tonight and I can’t FRICKIN WAIIITTTT?!?! Hint: you used to call me on my cell phone…..
Remember when Glam Squad came to my house last week to do me up for a special event? Well it was for this beautiful blogger brunch, hosted by Casetify to kick off NYFW… from LA! It was held at trendy LA hot-spot Gracias Madre, which is an all vegan, Mexican restaurant right in the middle of West Hollywood. Casetify set up a gorgeous –and flower-bombed– table outside on the patio under the umbrellas. The best part were the personalized phone cases that they gave to everyone. They chose a photo of me wearing the Downtown Crop top and Downtown Mesh Skirt from Montazami Brand, which is a photo I posted on instagram a couple of months ago. Isn’t it so cute?! I thought it was the best idea ever, especially for a bunch of bloggers.
What else was in the goodie bag? A cute blouse from Paige, a necklace, sunnies from Perverse, and more!
I wore my new white pants from Chiquelle [here], paired with a textured tan crop top and Capwell + Co jewelry. Thank you Casetify for hosting such a beautiful event!

Back from Labor Day Weekend and ready to hit this work week with full force! I hope you guys had a great weekend, I apologize for my bad update here on the blog. Yesterday we went on the boat and drove it up to Newport Beach, stopped for some yummy pizza and just chilled. They had a few boat slips right outside of the restaurant for boats to come pick up their pizza.. talk about convenience haha.
Sara and I had a mini photoshoot in Venice Beach last week with a new photographer, named Franz Steiner. We shot a couple of looks for Montazami Brand, just for fun! I’m wearing the Hudson grey knit dress with the detachable belt/necklace. I always get so many compliments when I wear it 🙂
Woke up at 6:30 this morning to open the door for hair and makeup. We’re going to two social events today, a blogger brunch with Casetify, and a Wildfox launch party at Revolve, so Sara and I decided to schedule an appointment with Glam Squad. For those of you who have never heard of Glam Squad before, it’s basically a hair and makeup team available at your finger tips. You can order hair, makeup, or both to your house whenever you need to glam it up for a special event. Whoever came up with this concept is absolutely genius… why didn’t I think of that?! Sara and I had four girls come, 2 make up artists and 2 hair stylists. They brought their little suitcases FILLED with makeup and hair products, and I basically just told them what I did and didn’t like. I said I wanted my makeup very sunkissed and bronzey with shimmery golds and plums on my eyelids. I loved the way it turned out! I’ll be posting pictures from the event so you guys can get a better look <3
