Afternoon Tea at The Lobby, Peninsula Paris Hotel
So, I’m in love with Paris. But you expected that, right? Today I really felt the magic that everyone seems to boast about when they talk about Paris. I mean, how could you not love it? Let’s start with the architecture. There isn’t one bad-looking building that I’ve seen thus far. There’s buildings with such minute detail and elegance… there’s even buildings that look like half of it was dipped in gold. It’s just gorgeous, and yeah you can see pictures, but the real understanding of Parisian beauty happens when you actually get to experience it in real life. Then, there’s the language. I think French is the prettiest-sounding language to listen to. Next, the picture-perfect fountains and gardens that everyone hangs out at in the middle of the day. There was legit people laying on chairs and catching some Z’s today at like 1 pm. Why do I love that so much? Last but certainly not least, the bougie afternoon tea at the Peninsula Paris Hotel.
I’m not exaggerating when I say we felt like royalty sitting on the terrace nibbling from our two selections of afternoon tea and sipping on glasses of Laurent-Perrier rosé champagne. Some of my favorites, if I had to pick any, were the salmon finger sandwiches, the banana and chocolate whipped cream cupcake, and the waffle with strawberry jam and chocolate hazelnut sauce. If you saw my Snapchat, you’ll know that everything tasted as good as it looks. Austin and I were in afternoon tea heaven! If it wasn’t the beautiful sounds of the piano playing that put everything over the top, it was definitely the impeccable service. I will definitely make it a necessity to come here on my future trips to Paris.

Two words: these pants. I got them a few weeks ago in New York, and they are easily one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe at the moment! They are the perfect pair of dress pants (wide leg, long, and high waisted) and I know I’ll get so much use of them. For this look I paired it with a simple black crop top and heels for our dinner date last night at Gaucho steakhouse in London.
Travel update: we are now in Paris! We took the train from London and I have to say it was so easy and an overall great experience. I really recommend traveling on the Eurostar train if you’re going from London to Paris or vice versa. I slept the majority of the time and only woke up to eat and work a bit on the computer!
Tomorrow we’re waking up early, grabbing breakfast, and exploring this beautiful city. If it’s HALF as beautiful as it is at night I will be a very happy girl. We have afternoon tea scheduled at the Peninsula hotel tomorrow too, so it should be a nice and relaxing day here in Paris. Talk soon my loves!

Today marks the first day of summer! My all-time favorite season. I wanted to show you guys the new bikini I got that I cannot wait to wear in Croatia next week! It honestly fits like a glove… I need to get more tops like this because it really pushes my boobs together and that’s an extremely RARE occasion. I wish I could show you how it looks on but that will have to wait until I get to Croatia. It’s a little hard to see in the photo, but it’s a pretty light gold color with floral detailing. It goes perfectly with Gorjana’s beachy accessories. Both brands teamed up to create the perfect summer capsule collection 🙂
Well, Camden Market was truly something! Located only a couple miles away from our hotel, Camden Town felt like a whole other world with it’s signature food stands and endless jewelry and fashion boutiques. This is the place where you find out-of-the-ordinary cool shit that you can’t get anywhere else. I wish I was in more of a shopping mood, but I still managed to get my hands on a pair of cute sunglasses for 10 pounds 🙂
Things You’ll Find Here:
jewelry, vintage clothing, cool band tees, trinkets, belts, leather goods
you can find specialties from a bunch of different countries from all over the world!
the Dutch pancakes!!! 10 mini pancakes for 3.50
Keep your friends close but your personal belongings closer
Things to Know:
Every shop owner STARES you down when you’re shopping. Kinda uncomfortable, but I’m sure they have dealt with a lot of theft in such a busy and crowded market!

If the sun doesn’t come out in London, take matters into your own hands and BE the sun! Hehe just kidding, but really, I felt like I stuck out like a sore thumb in this bright yellow jacket on the gloomy streets of London. Why must it be so cold here?! Unfortunately I was in weather denial when I was packing for this trip. If you take a look inside my suitcase(s), all you’ll find are dresses, skirts, and crop tops. Like did I think I was going to Mexico?? Come on Hanna. You know it’s bad when you can’t find anything to wear ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE TRIP haha.
I’m so happy I got this cute yellow jacket from Zara yesterday though. It matches my newly blonde locks 🙂 Right now the jet lag is hitting us pretty hard but we’re gunna be strong and fight it off with everything we got (cough cough, double espresso please!). Tonight’s plans are dinner and possibly a bar/club afterwards?! xx
Luckily we had such an easy flight from LAX to LHR, and we are finally settled in our hotel across from Hyde Park. We spent half of the day exploring this area of London, which just so happens to be home to the world-famous Harrod’s store! They literally have EVERYTHING you could think of. It’s the department store of department stores. I wanted to get these adorable Harrod’s tea cups for my apartment but unfortunately it will not fit in my suitcase. Buttttt a brand new Zara jacket will? Haha I’ve had my eye on this one yellow leather jacket from there and I just had to get it when I saw it in person! My sorry overweight suitcase will definitely not feel the same about it as I do 😛
Right now we’re off to dinner, and then after that we’re thinking of trying out Madison’s rooftop bar, that one of you lovely readers suggested to me! Talk soon xx
First of all I need to say an overwhelming thank you to all of you who commented on my last post with travel recommendations! They are MUCH appreciated and I can’t wait to try out some of the places you suggested. As some of you may know I’m leaving for my Euro trip tomorrow, and just like usual I got TONS to do before I go. Luckily my flight is after 5 pm so I’ll have most of the day to get some crap done. Most of my packing is done (thx GOD!) so it’s just some last minute errands I have to do.
Today I got down and dirty (and clean) with my Scrub Love coconut coffee scrub! I wanted to exfoliate and moisturize my skin before our travels and thought this was a perfect way to do it. This stuff made my skin softer than butter! I’m obsessed with the scent of this one, called the ”coconut affair”. It smells up the whole bathroom and it feels like you’re in a coconut coffee shop 🙂 You can shop it [HERE], and there are other fun scents too like original (coffee) and mint temptation.
PS….. do you notice anything different about me? 😉
FIRST STOP: LONDON
2ND STOP: PARIS
3RD STOP: DUBROVNIK, CROATIA
LAST STOP: STOCKHOLM
Here you have my travel plans for my Euro trip! My Uncle Christian and his fiancé Liv are getting married in Stockholm in the beginning of July, so Austin and I decided to take a multi-city vacation while we’re at it 🙂 It’s the perfect time to do it… Austin might be starting law school in the fall so we thought now would be the time to travel together! I’m so excited because I’ve never spent time in ANY of these cities (except for Sweden obviously). I’ve always dreamed of seeing these beautiful cities, and now it’s becoming a reality.
We leave for London on Thursday and we have roughly four nights in each of our first three stops and then a little more time in Sweden. It will be so fun to show Austin around Stockholm… he can finally see what I’ve been bragging about for so long! I’m always like ”Sweden this, Sweden that” ”the kanelbulle in Sweden tho” ”omg Swedish mjukglass with the crunchy sprinkles” …yeah you get the point haha.
Have you guys been to any of these places? If so, I would LOVE to hear some good places to eat, go out, go dance, what to see, what to do, beaches, etc.
PS. I’M SO EXCITEDDDDD. Before I leave I’ll be doing a ”What’s In My Carry On?” post on my blog and Instagram. Do you guys have any particular questions about traveling and carry-ons? Let me know below!

Just some more dreamy photos from our NYC trip! I’m happy I have these to post because I’m so busy with other things at the moment (like packing and preparing for my 3 week trip to Europe that I leave for on THURSDAY) and didn’t have the time to take pictures today.
This was the day we walked around Little Italy and the SoHo area. We were so starving so we ate at a restaurant called The Butcher’s Daughter…. great atmosphere, but the food was okay. I don’t know if it was because I wasn’t in the mood for it at the time or what because when I look back at the pictures now it looks freakin’ delicious haha. I might get grilled for saying this, but I don’t think I enjoy eating avocado toasts. I tried to be one of those people but I just can’t. Something about the avocado and the egg just doesn’t do it for me! Sub the avo for some fresh berry jam and now we’re talkin.
So…. as I’ve mentioned time and time again, I love my sugar. I just can’t seem to get enough of it. I must say that it’s mostly natural sugars that I’m eating (from fruits), but I definitely have my fair share of candy and chocolate as well. Either way, I’m eating too much sugar, and it finally took it’s toll this week. I have been dealing with pimples all over my cheeks, and I’m pretty positive it’s because of a sugar spike in my diet. For the past week I’ve been eating a bag and a half (!) of Barnana snacks a day. It’s safe to say I’m addicted. They are soooooo damn delicious. But yesterday I looked at the nutrition facts. And my heart dropped. There’s 20 grams of sugar in 6 pieces!!!! And there’s like 15 pieces in a bag, so I was eating like 25 a day. THAT’S 70 GRAMS OF SUGAR, JUST FROM ONE SNACK! Even though the only ingredients are dried bananas, dried apples, and cinnamon, it’s still a lot. And that’s one of maaaanyyyy other sweet snacks that I normally eat throughout the day. The skin problems were almost an immediate response that my body made to tell me to stop eating so much sugar. I know that because I have never had acne issues in this area of my face, and those Barnana snacks were just recently introduced to my diet and in mass quantities.
Moral of the story is that as much as I love my Barnana snacks, they gotta go. Or at least I need to keep it to a minimum (words of an addict much?). I’ll try going with the recommended serving size limit per day. In the meantime you can find me drinking plenty of water and green tea and walking around with a face mask on!
Do you guys have any tips on keeping your sugar intake low? Is there anything naturally sweet that doesn’t have that much sugar?!
Fruits that are low in sugar:
strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, peaches, apples, oranges, grapefruit
Fruits that are high in sugar:
bananas, cherries, mangoes, grapes and figs
On a more serious note, I have to address the devastation that occurred in Orlando, Florida this weekend. My heart is so heavy thinking about all of the innocent lives that were taken by that selfish, disgusting man full of hatred. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims, along with their families and friends. Something needs to change, and I think we should start with the obvious. America needs stricter gun laws. Period. How many more of these tragedies do we have to endure before something is done to prevent them? Stay strong America <3
