HAPPY FRIDAY BABY!

Yesterday I shot with Christian Fang for the first time, he’s a Swedish photographer that I’ve been following for quite some time now.  I got to know his work through other Swedish bloggers, so we set up a photoshoot since he’s here visiting LA.  He put a cool vintage edit on these, which is a fun contrast from the normal edit I do that you guys are used to.  I also shot some other looks with him that you guys will be seeing here on the blog soon!

Right now I’m finishing up the flyer for Montazami Brand’s FREE SHIPPING from now until Christmas.  It’ll be in effect in a few hours, so you can get all of your holiday shopping done, free of shipping charges.  YAY!  Who doesn’t love a good holiday deal?

P.S. I’ve been working really hard to create a fantastic holiday gift guide for you guys to follow as you search for presents to gift your loved ones this Christmas/holiday season.  It’s almost finished so look out for that within the next couple of days!

much love x

The Girl in the Red Dress

A snapshot from tonight’s event! Sara and I went to the Flynn Skye holiday party, complete with free ear piercings, diamonds, and hair braiding. We wanted another ear piercing so bad but we were too late to join the list… apparently everyone at the party wanted a piercing haha. I wanted mine in the center of the ear, where the ear cuffs are worn.  I might still get it even though I couldn’t tonight!

This beautiful red dress is from Flynn Skye. The fit is to die for! Watch my snapchat story to see video footage of my catwalk (un: hannamonty)

Hi babes!

I finally tried it out.  The whole ”fishnets under jeans” look! I like how it gives an extra element of detail.  That extra something that will make someone do a double take.  Next time I might try it out with a tight pair of high waisted blue jeans and a colorful top!

How was your day?  Mine was good, I got a spray tan in the morning because I have a couple of shoots lined up for the weekend, and some of them are in underwear (!) and I was so pale.  How does someone living in California become so pale?? Every time I try to lay out it gets too cold haha.  Last weekend I lathered myself up in Maui Babe tanning lotion (very brown, coffee-scented lotion) only to notice that it had turned into a cloudy day.  I was sitting in my apartment like oh ok. Just sitting there in a bikini covered in brown lotion haha.

Right now I’m going to quickly get ready for a home decor event that I’m going to together with my mom and Sara.  Have a good night! <3

DOWNTOWN

Cut out leggings by Alo Yoga // pink furry jacket by Pretty Little Thing

Work work work! Today consisted of a whole lot of driving and work errands. Doing errands downtown is physically and emotionally draining, and it pretty much takes up your whole day.  But you gotta do what you gotta do, and why not stop for a little juice break to keep you going? Today I got the Matcha Hemp almond milk, I think it’s new to the Pressed Juicery menu but I loved it! It’s not too sweet which I like.  And LOL at this pink furry jacket that I have not taken off since I got it five days ago. That’s what happens when you’re busy and you just don’t care haha.  Hope all of you had a fabulous start to the week. It’s hump day tomorrow!

It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

The lights are twinkling on the tree, and the dinner table is set with our traditional Christmas tableware… we must be getting into the holiday spirit!  We picked out the tree this weekend, and as you can see it has some major character.  We wanted the one with a few imperfections because those are the cutest! We drank glögg and decorated the tree in silver, white, and turquoise ornaments in the family room. I think it looks so good! Now all we need is the fireplace on…

Tonight we had one of my favorite dinners, it’s very simple but so delicious. Sliced cucumber, tomato, and French feta cheese dressed in olive oil, basil, and salt and pepper with fresh green onion, basil, watercress, and radishes all on top of freshly toasted lavash bread. Yummy!

Happy Birthday Madison!

Wearing: bodysuit by Kookai // jeans by Zara // Chanel belt // shoes by Din Sko

That one time we had a 20 minute long photoshoot in the middle of Madison’s birthday brunch haha.  Seriously though, when you don’t see each other that often, you need to capture the moment with at least 5384 photos!

We had (a little too much) fun celebrating Madi’s 24th birthday on Saturday.  We started with brunch, then went to The Bungalow, then proceeded to go out later that night in Laguna. The party just kept on going from 10:30 in the morning until midnight(!) and I definitely paid for it today.  I ate the most random things today… as I usually do when I’m feeling hungover. We’re talkin’ chicken fried rice, eggs and beans, sushi, a smoothie, spaghetti squash, even Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal haha.  I can’t wait to wake up tomorrow feeling great again.  How was your weekend? MORE IMPORTANTLY, how was your shopping weekend?! The sale is still going strong over at Montazami Brand!! Check it out at www.montazamibrand.com

Hi guys!

Is it just me or are there CRAZY sales this year?!  Usually stores will only do Black Friday, and online stores will only do Cyber Monday.  But that is totally not the case this year!  All of the stores are going all out and REALLY showing their appreciation for their customers by doing an all weekend (I’ve even seen week-long) sales.  Perfect for some early (is this considered early, or am I just accustomed to last-minute?) Christmas shopping.  I can’t wait to curate a little Christmas list and show it to you guys here on the blog!  Think portable phone chargers, top of the line skin care products (because let’s ‘face’ it, what you’re putting on your face matters, and it should be high quality sh*t!), shoes, Chimi sunnies, and of course a bottle of Montazami Brand White Label perfume!

Tomorrow we’re celebrating Madison’s birthday!  She’s been my best friend since 3rd grade…. and now she’s turning 24!  Since both of our moms are best friends as well, my mom is coming with me to her house around 10:30 am for a nice brunch.  I’m giving her a wrap top and choker from Montazami Brand xx

Hiiiiii y’all!

After my photoshoot yesterday Sara and I were feeling our weekend vibes (since today is Thanksgiving) so we dressed up all cute to go to dinner on Abbott Kinney.  We first went to this one place but it was SO DEAD so we turned right back around, through the door and started walking in search of another spot.  We came across a sushi restaurant called Wabi Sabi, which is a place that also happens to be known for their amazing cocktails.  We had extra spicy cilantro margaritas and fresh sushi…. so yummy!  After I took these photos we went up to the apartment to drop off the camera and I ended up changing my jacket to a long gold one.  It matched a little more, but this pink fluffy bomber still looked cute with my outfit!

Like I just mentioned, today is THANKSGIVING!  We’re all going to my Aunt and Uncle’s house around 2 so Sara and I need to start cooking the dishes we’re planning on bringing!  We decided on sautéed green beans with mushrooms and garlic and homemade pumpkin pie 🙂

Thankful for all of you guys, my wonderful readers <3

Baby T-Rex hands strike again haha.  This is what I looked like yesterday, running around LA from meeting to meeting.  I kept it cool and casual with some army green cargo pants, a fresh white tee, and a good ‘ole washed out denim jacket.

Happy Wednesday! Only one more day until we stuff our faces with turkey and gravy, pumpkin pie, and everything in between.  This year we’re celebrating it at my Aunt and Uncle’s house in Santa Monica.  We’re each bringing a dish so I think Sara and I are planning on making candied sweet potato and some sort of vegetable side.  I need to Pinterest a fun recipe for that.  I was on Pinterest the other day and came across a sweet potato recipe that called for chopped nuts on top, next to the melted marshmallows.  I think that will be the ”twist” I’ll add to my signature Thanksgiving dish this year… just ‘cause I’m feelin’ a little ballsy.  To my American readers, what are your guys’ plans for Thanksgiving?!
