Our first stop (and one of our favorite stops) of our Bali trip was Ubud.  Ubud is known for it’s lush and endless palm tree views.  We went during the rainy season, but in our 3 nights there it barely rained, and most of it came down when we were asleep.  We got lucky!

On our second day in Ubud we checked into the Viceroy hotel and were absolutely blown away.  Just imagine your car pulling up to the property, there’s a security check-in point (all of the hotels we stayed in had this), helicopter pad, and just tons and tons of beautiful villas and infinity pools.  Our jaws were on the floor when we walked into our villa for the first time.  It was insane…. exactly the stuff you see and dream about on instagram.  Our own infinity pool, cabana overlooking the jungle, massive luxury bathroom/tub, and an extra spacious bed.  We were in heaven!

The breakfast was included and you could order what you wanted from an actual menu, which was nice.  I had the lox benedict and it was mm mmm mmmmm. Not to mention my beautiful breakfast view… and the jungle view was nice too 😉

To be completely honest we felt like we were on our honeymoon.  It is a PERFECT place for honeymooners.  It’s not crowded (it was rainy season though, not sure how it is in the peak season), and it was a little slice of heaven.  If you’re traveling from the states, our body clocks were all over the place so we woke up each morning around 4:30/5:00 a.m., and I wouldn’t have done it any other way.  We made our coffees (well Rudy made the coffee hehe), walked out onto the balcony and watched the sun rise over the palm trees.  This is the place where you fall even more in love!

I booked this hotel through Nicole at Inspo Travel Co, and I’m so so grateful I did!  In my Bali guide (still in the works) I’ll be explaining more about Inspo Travel Co and how she helped make my Bali trip planning so much easier.

Thank you Viceroy Bali for an epic stay!
