My heart hurts knowing that there is so much hate and crisis happening in the world. Although we do not see it first hand it is still happening, and it is still real. The war-torn city of Aleppo needs all the help they can get to increase the number of rescue services and medical aid workers attending to its poor civilians. The holiday season is all about giving back, which is why I would appreciate it so much if any of you would like to donate to one of the Syrian aid programs listed below. Any donation, big or small, will help save more lives. There are so many charity groups out there that need financial help!
Thank you so much for your help!!!
White Helmuts, [donate here] “Every day in Syria, volunteer rescue workers from the White Helmets rush to the scenes of bombings to pull people out from under the rubble and carry them to safety. Their courageous and selfless work has given hope to millions of civilians.”
The International Rescue Committee, [donate here] “IRC aid workers are meeting people who have fled Aleppo as they reach the nearby town of Al Dana, one of the many neighboring areas bracing themselves for the influx of displaced people driven from their homes in the city. Donations will go toward providing families who have escaped the city with food, fuel and emergency supplies including mattresses, blankets, soap and towels.”
Hand in Hand for Syria, [donate here] “Hand in Hand for Syria was set up soon after the beginning of the war in 2011, and uses its extensive networks on the ground to implement aid in some of the most difficult-to-reach places. Some of the organization’s members living in Eastern Aleppo were forced to abandon their work after pro-government forces took control of the area. Donors can contribute toward the emergency appeal for families fleeing from the city, which will provide food, medical aid and winter supplies.”
